Gatlinburg → Day 1 ←

Friday Morning I got up and out of the fast as soon as I could..

I ran by the dealership, the bank and then

Picked up some food to take with us to Gatlinburg.

As we were walking out the door to hit the road I snapped this picture..

Willow all snuggled up on her back on the kitty city!

We are off! Its about 3 1/2 hours to the Smoky Mountains..

The kids were following us

as we winded through the mountains. ( thats not them in front of us!! That was another truck! )

I love the windy roads.

It was just so pretty of a drive..

I got comfy..

and broke out..

some new magazines..

But it started raining..

really hard..

Laura wanted to pull over so we did and I said hi to..

Baby Ashlynn! Shes sooo cute!!

We had to find the office to get our keys and sign the papers.. Wasn't so easy in the dark...Finally we found them and then we were off to find the cabin...

That was even more challenging.. We were totally

After about 45 minutes of driving, turning around, and backing up we found..

We quickly got everything in..

Took a look around and back in the car we went to get a late dinner..

Gatlinburg was busy as always..

Steak restaurant called ~ The Alamo ~

As soon as we got in the door I saw the desert case and had to check it out!!

Yum...

That chocolate cake has my name all over it!

Decisions.. Decisions..

We ate really well..

and before I knew it we were back to the cabin to relax..

We all loved the screened in porch!

The guys got busy playing ping pong!

Jerred was pretty good too!

They kept playing

and playing..

It was a good way to wind down the night..

Before we knew it.. it was after 2 am.. We all headed in to get some sleep!

Our room was upstairs and it had a bathroom and also..

a deck that I loved. I stood there and just took in the moment and beauty of the night.. It was amazing.
