One Step Urdu Installation for your PC - Pak Urdu Installer

Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and it is also used in India and rest of the world. If we combine the number of speakers of Hindi language and Urdu Language, this set would be world's 4th biggest language in terms of number of speakers.

HTC ChaCha Arabic Keyboard in High Resolution

Few days ago I got to design a flyer for latest HTC's smartphone HTC ChaCha. Actually it was for Middle Eastern community who read and understand Arabic language. For the sake of a printed flyer I got to prepare HTC ChaCha Arabic keyboard in High resolution. I tried to look for it on Photo banks and free photo sharing sites but it seems to me that only I am the one who require it, No body else needed it ever. After not finding it online, I took few pictures of HTC ChaCha Arabic keyboard as it was made available to me that time and then imported that photos in Photoshop but the idea didn't work because those photos were very poor quality and cannot be used in a Print ad.

So finally I created the Arabic Keyboard for ChaCha in Adobe Photoshop in high resolution specially for the advertisement. Now the flyer which I designed is printed.So I thought I should share the High resolution Arabic keyboard with other people too, so that people can utilize it in their designs if they need it.

Repairing Corrupted USB Pen Drives with HP Format Utility

Recently one of my USB pen drive got corrupted. Windows 7 built in format utility was unable to format it. I tested it windows vista and windows xp. But it seems all kind of Windows operating systems are unable to handle this issue. The USB flash is Kingston manufacturer and it was 128GB that might be an expensive gadget for a lot of people these days. It was about 120 US $ when purchased, so loosing this device would be a not easy option for me, I started searching over google how to repair this kind of corrupted USB or how to repair corrupted usb pen drive.

In the mean time I also tested it via Ubuntu linux but it didn’t work for me. A lot of people recommended me right click my computer icon in windows and choose Manage option. Then go to disk management and delete the partition, change drive letter and then re format it, it didn’t work also. Another blog recommended me to check for file system errors in drive properties, that I was trying all day long and it didn’t work too. Then I found a recommendation by Martin Brinkmann at ghacks.net


The format utility was available at PC-World and Cnet downloads with the name SP27608.exe

I downloaded it and tried to format my USB drive with it and finally this utility worked and solved my problem. So if you are in same case and want to format your USB drive that cannot be formatted with ordinary windows tools, try this. I hope it helps.

The process of using this utility is very simple. Just launch the utility with Administrator rights, a window like above will appear that will automatically select the pen drive that is connected to your computer at that moment. First try with quick format option. It will take few minutes depending on the size of your USB flash disk, if this process don't work, try the second option by un-checking "Quick format". Now it will take more time but you will get a better probability of success.

iPhone 4 High Resolution Images for Designers

I needed iPhone 4 High resolution images for a design work. But I didn't find any ready made high resolution iPhone pictures on the internet, even at Apple website, So I google it and find few images from here, here and here, then I imported these images into Photoshop and did a little re-touch and completed my task. Then I thought these HR images might be usefull for other designers too, so I am presenting it here. These pictures are in PNG format with a transparent background and absolutely no watermark at all. Apple's latest logo is also provided.

Another source is also providing iPhone HR images in Vector format but it didn't helped me, may be it becomes useful for you. It is available here. If you like this work please comment below.

Back in 2008 I have written this booklet for my employer's children. I have also given them a few lectures using multimedia projector. The purpose of this booklet was to introduce basic Internet terminologies and Resources. It is very easy to know about Yahoo, Microsoft and Google for an adult. But for children it becomes little difficult to explain them What is Internet and Why is Internet. That time I googled a lot to find similer stuff free from some online resource but I have found everyone is asking for registrations, course fees and paid lectures. Even basic education books for children are very expensive. So that I decided to solve this issue myself and I spent a week writing all this. Also I put visual aids for childern to understand easily.
