1 Fave Color: Ummm.. I guess I have a couple favorite colors.. I know it may sound boring but white is one of my all time favorite colors but I also love purple!

4 What is pissing you off: Not much really! Yesterday had some drama online but that didn't really anger me..just frustrated me when things get blown out of proportion!

5 When you’re upset you: Sulk… yup, I’m a sulker and I do the “woe is me” bit a lot. Alternately, I turn to the people closest to me, Scott mostly, and seek his support, advice and help.

Your welcome!!! I think there is a slight taste difference at first. But not a big taste difference. By time you are finished up with the first half gallon. you won't ever notice it again!

I stumbled upon this link on facebook and I was amazed at your blog about the organic milk. How can you tell its really organic? I have heard that there is lots of " fake " organic foods out there now. So if you know, please tell me.

Certified organic operations must have an organic system plan and records verifying compliance with that plan. These operations are subject to an annual inspection and spot checks to ensure they continue to meet strict standards. There is no faking it. If its stamped. Its true.

Hi! Just a question about your organic milk blog post. There are lots of brands of organic milk. Why Horizon?

Well, I really don't have a big answer for this. For me.. I still prefer whole milk and I couldn't find any other brands that offered organic whole milk. When I found the Horizon whole milk, I was super happy and thats what I went with!

Wow, I just read your post! I love it. I am going to try it soon. What is the difference in price between organic milk and regular milk?

I think there is a slight price difference. I know it sounds bad.. but I don't really check prices all the time. I get what we need and move on. But what I have noticed is a half gallon of organic milk cost about the same as a gallon of non organic milk.

Well...thank you for your thoughts. I respect your opinion.. but is not that expensive. And its not hard to find. I get it at my local grocery store ( Ingles ) and Walmart also carries it. This is real milk from real cows. Its not a powder milk or a milk substitute. If you want to know more. there is lots of online information that you can research.

Dear Mrs. Jaggers,

You are telling us to buy this organic milk yet we are out in restaurants and away from home they don't serve it. So whats the point?

I totally understand this. I am kinda OCD and I don't like to do anything half way. I agree, we should be given more choices when dining out.. but that's just not the way it is at most restaurants. I don't tend to drink a lot of milk when I am out and about but if I do have a glass of milk from a restaurant, I enjoy it. I try my hardest to keep it organic but if I can't always have it organic then I just deal with it and move on. If it really bothers you, you can always decline milk.

I read your blog and saw you had whole milk in your organic milk post. Is that the only kind of milk they sell in organic? I hate fatty milk.

No, Horizon milk offers milk in every different %. I think my mom drinks the Horizon skim milk. So there are plenty of choices for us all!

I am an animal lover and saw your post yesterday about about the milk. How can you tell people to buy that milk when cows are being so mistreated?  They are forced to live a life that is not natural and not good for them. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you educate yourself on what those cows go through to give you that big glass of milk you like so much. Very poorly done.

Wow. Ok first. Thanks for your comment even though I disagree. I know what cows go through. I am educated about it. I watched food inc. along with many other shows that teach us about the animal abuse that happens for food. While I am not ashamed of me or that post, I understand that you might not want to eat meat or drink milk or any other dairy because of your feelings. Horizon organic milk comes from over 600 certified organic family farms in 21 states. Their family farmer partners supply 93% of their milk. Horizon also owns and operates two of our own organic farms, that supply 7% of their milk. All Horizon cows graze on certified organic pastures. When they are not on pasture, they are fed only organic, vegetarian feed that has been produced without the use of genetically modified grains or the use of toxic and persistent herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. The cows are very well taken care of. These cows are well taken care of  and I suspect they are loved by the people who care for them daily. I am sorry you didn't like the post. My blog has lots to offer, so I hope you do find something on here that you enjoy!

I read your post tonight on the organic milk. You didn't talk much about the other items Horizon offers. Are they just as good? And where can I find them?

Yes, all Horizon products are great! You can find them at your local grocery store or even at walmart!

Please tell me where I can find this milk. I didn't see it at Walmart the last time I went shopping. And do you know where I can find any coupons for it?

I see it all the time at my local Walmart right in the milk area. If by some chance your Walmart does not carry it, just talk to the manager and try to get them to start ordering it. I have not seen any coupons, but if you call Horizon.. and ask for them, I am sure they will mail you some!

This milk is not truly organic. I know it isn't. So stop pushing it on us.

I would love to see your proof on this. It is organic. I am not pushing it on anyone. I was just putting the information out there. Everyone is free to make their own choices.

I read your post. went shopping. got the milk. there were not gallons, only half gallons. Is that the way it is at your store? I liked the milk but could taste a slight difference. Why?

I don't think they offer in the milk in gallons at this time. I am not sure for the slight taste difference. But like I said before.. after you get through the first couple glasses.. that will go away.

Your post didn't really explain why the expiration date is so much longer with organic milk vs regular milk. Can you tell me why? Is it really milk?

Milk labeled “pasteurized” will usually have a sell-by date of one to two weeks away. Milk labeled “ultra-pasteurized” has a longer shelf life, and will usually display a sell-by date of several weeks away. Aside from the fact that ultra-pasteurized milk has a longer shelf life, there is no difference between pasteurized and ultra-pasteurized milk; the products taste identical to each other and have the same nutritional value. I love that it last longer. It means we get more for our $ becuase we are not always dumping out expired milk!

I am emailing you because I could not leave a comment on your blog. Why have a blog if you are not going to let your readers leave comments? Anyway, the organic milk post was nice but how can you expect people who can barley buy food buy this expensive ass milk? There are tons of people who can't afford this. I thought your blog was supposed to be for family's. Most families cannot afford this milk. Maybe you should come back down to earth and realize we don't all have husbands that make lots of money selling cars. You don't work at all, yet you spend his money on stuff like this. I don't get it. Shouldn't you save for a rainy day because paying the prices for organic milk is not worth it.

Wow.. First off. I don't have comments on the blog anymore because even though I moderated them, I still had to read them and I was getting harassed by someone who has bothered me for over 2 years now. I am sure if you read this blog at all you know this. Not all blogs are open to comments. I choose to take comments via facebook, email, and twitter because its unlikely someone will go through all the effort to make a fake account just to leave a mean comment. Now.. I am not telling anyone they HAVE to buy this milk. If someone is having trouble putting food on the table, then buy all means.. buy the milk that you can afford. This is a matter of choice. If you can afford it, and want better.. then go for it. If you can't.. thats ok too.  I am not going to address my husband work or how much money he makes at it.. but if you know anything about the car business. there are good months and bad months. I choose this milk because I want to put healthier things into my body. The choice is yours... and to me organic milk is worth it.

Too funny! Scott wasn't so crazy about it at first but one night I made pancakes.. poured the milk.. he drank it up and I have never heard another word  about it. Maybe you should take a non organic milk jug.. rinse it out.. and then put the organic milk in and trick him! Questions $ Answers

Since its been a while since I have done one of these.. I thought I would sort through my emails and answer some of your guys questions! Now this is just a hodge podge of questions and I know some of these questions were jumbled together from one person, but for the sake of making this easy.. I am just answering the questions one by one.

~ I am interested in your kittens and would like to know prices and when they will ready for

sale. ~

I have got lots of comments and emails about the kittens. I mean they are just as precious as can be. I truly can not stop kissing them! They will not be ready for a while. It will be close to Christmas before the kittens will be finding new homes. I don't know which ones I am keeping yet. They all pull at my heart and when we are closer to that time I will be placing ads for them. Prices vary. Chocolate or Cream, Male or Female all effect the price. Plus if I have to deliver it, there is an extra charge. If you are truly interested in one then go ahead and send me an email. If you see one in a picture that you like most then try to give me the best description or let me know which photo you are referencing. I will get back to you as soon as possible and we will start the application process over the phone. They are my loves and I have to find great homes for the ones I am not keeping. I don't take it lightly.. I want them to have the best life's possible!

~ I recently watched your video of your new house but why have you not upgraded your washer and dryer to more energy efficient washer and dryer~

I was kinda surprised by this question! I kinda thought at first it was rude but let me explain. We have had this washer and dryer set for about 6 or 7 years. We bought them brand new and I just don't want to pay for another set until I just have to. My current washer does squeal a bit but it still washes the clothes great. The dryer works just as good and until I just have to, I won't be replacing these. I am not particularly fond of front loading washers. I like to be able to open them while I am using it occasionally and I wouldn't be able to do that with a front loader washer. And for whatever reason.. any time I have used one of those kind of washers, it always seems to take more time. So when I do buy another set I am sure it will be similar to the ones I have now. I might switch to stainless steel but I doubt it will be a front loader. I know it could maybe save a little tiny bit of money with new energy saver but not enough for me to justify going and buying more.

~ What fall decorations will you be putting up this year? ~

I have a ton of fall decorations that I will hopefully have up by Thursday at the latest. What I have done is keep all my decorations boxed up year after year and each new year that comes along.. I buy a couple of extra things to add to my collection. A lot of my stuff is out door decorations but I also like to put out a few things around the inside of the house to get things changed up for fall! And you guys know.. I looooove fall!

~ I have been hoping to see more of Today's Looks.. When will you be starting those back up? ~

I am working on getting more of those up. I am trying to figure out the lighting situation in my bathroom and also working on finding all the right settings on my new camera. I got one done and hopefully within a couple days, I will get it posted. I am undecided if the looks will only be through pictures or if I will start to video more of them. Its hard to video.. I am not so comfortable in front of the camera. I like making the videos.. not staring in them! But who knows.. maybe.. The answer to your question is.. I will get more looks up very soon!

~ I noticed your pictures and videos look great! Could you please tell me the kind of camera you

use? ~

This is a funny question because the other night at the fair during the Demolition Derby I got a question about my camera from the lady that was sitting behind me. She could see how well my pictures turned out in the night and wanted to know what kind of camera I had. Right before we left for the cruise I bought another digital camera. This time I got the Sony Cyber-Shot Camera. Its 14.1 megapixels. Its got the 10x Optical Zoom Steady Shot. I got it at Walmart. It actually wasn't my first choice but the other one I liked sold out. This one cost close to $ 200.00. I think it was around $ 180 before taxes. I really like it. I am still getting use to all the settings and sometimes the video does go in and out of focus if you are moving around a lot. But its slim and fits just as nice in a clutch as it does a normal sized purse. I am hard on cameras but I am working extra hard to take care of this one. I think husby is tired of buying me cameras! This camera comes in a variety of colors and the one I have is in royal blue!

~ What programs do you use to photo shop? ~

I tend to use Coreal more than any more programs. I guess that's because I use it more than any of the others. I like Widows live also to work on pictures and lets not forget www.picknik.com. They have a lot of different effects that I love to use! On videos I use the Windows Movie Maker which came on this computer. Again.. I think we all mainly use what we are most familiar with.

~ How are you liking your new house. It seems much bigger than the one you moved from. Are you all unpacked yet? ~

I really wish the answer to your question was yes. Well yes, I do love the house but no I am not unpacked. I have got to the point where its livable but there is still a lot left to unpack. I am kinda at a standstill at it. I am just not motivated like I should be. Scott keeps getting on me about my little area in the garage that I need to really be working on. I just want a warm day to come before I go out there and work!

~ Whats your favorite mascara you are using now? I can never seem to find one I like?

I love a lot of different mascaras. I swear.. I have a ton of them.. But an all time favorite of mine is the Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume Mascara. Its the one in the orange tube. I go to that one more than any. In fact, I had to get another tube of it just a couple weeks ago!

~  I tried to read one of your older post and there was nothing there. Could you help me figure out whats going on? ~

What has probably happened is when I had the dark back ground.. I either wrote in a white color and very light color that is not showing up. If you stumble upon one of those post, please email me and let me know the name of it and I will fix it asap!

~ You and your husband seem to be traveling a lot this year.. When and Where do you plan on going next? ~

We sure have traveled a lot this year! While it has been fun its been very costly! But I wouldn't change it for anything! I had a great time at every place we went. Our next trip will be the weekend of October 22 for our daughters wedding. Its actually Scott's daughter from his first marriage. But she's mine too! Love her bunches and she is having a fall wedding in Gatlinburg. This time Michael and another friend are heading down with us. So we will be getting our house sitter to come take care of all the babies around here while we are gone! Only about 3 weeks to go!

~ I am a new mom and also trying to get back in the grove again and trying to find a part time job. How is your job hunt going? Where are you finding the jobs at? Online or in your local paper? I just can't find any work. Any tips? ~

I honestly don't have any good tips re job hunting. I am not so good at it. Its been years since I have been out trying to get any kind of job. I am nervous as can be about it. I am doing a lot of hunting online and going by word of mouth more than anything. I am hoping to get a little part time job at a coffee shop or something like that! But its not easy for any of us. I would suggest.. working on your resume.. staying persistent and not giving up!

~ Your house always looks so clean. How do you do it all by yourself? Any good organizing tips that you can share?

Omg.. how I wish this was true! If you guys could see my house tonight you would be shocked! For the past few days I have not felt that good and I haven't done much around here besides cleaning the kitchen up and trying to keep up on laundry and I am doing a poor job at that. I am really needing to spend some quality around here cleaning things up. When things start getting behind and I need some help I like to use www.flylady.org to help me get things back to normal around here. I work best on schedules and she really gives you a great day by day guide to help keep your house together! So check that out if you need a little extra help as I do right now!

~ You haven't talked about any cooking shows anymore. Do you still watch them? ~

I haven't really took any time to watch any good shows. I am interested in the new show The Chew that is just starting out. I don't know much about it but when I know more.. I will let you know what I think about it!

~ Any good movie recommendations? ~

Well a couple of my favorites are Wall Street : Money Never Sleeps.. love this movie!!

I also like Little Fockers for a good laugh! I also love the Fast Five.. which is now available to rent.. I love so many movies.. Thinking about it now, I do have a couple of new movie reviews to get up for you guys!

~ I love purses. Could you one day do a purse video of all your purses. I know you like to collect them and I would love to see the different ones you have! ~

Sounds like a fun idea! I might for sure do that!

~ I recently saw that the stalker person is back to bothering you. What is going on with that? Are the police helping you find out who this person is? ~



Well this situation is exhausting and I don't really want to talk that much about it. The police are still working on it. My patience after 2 years is growing very weak but we are going through the process to get to the end. I am still dealing with them. I don't really mind that they have something negative to say about me but I don't like it when my family and my friends are dragged into it. I also don't mind so much when its actually the truth but when its just lies after lies that they are stating as facts.. that's what pisses me off. It won't go on forever and it will be a blessed day when this person is outed by the authorities and is in jail for what they have done and continue to do.



Well thats about all the questions and answers I am going to get to tonight. I need to go back and work in the laundry room for a while. I am not feeling that good so I am hoping to get done soon so I can maybe get some rest!
