In the air...

December will be here in less than 24 hours. I can feel Christmas in the air!! In fact, I will probably do a little shopping today! I didn't get to bed till really late and I woke up to phone calls about the cats. A lot of people want females but I can't control how many of those my cats have! I am hoping for today to be a bit slower being I have things I have to do in while. After I am done with this post, I am going to get the post up for home made sugar scrubs because I promised it would be up YESTERDAY!! Its pretty much done except for few more notes. Then, time to clean up and head out. I will be out a while so don't look for me to be blogging till tonight sometime in the evening. Scott has to go to the auction at 7 and I suspect, you will hear from me before then!

I have checked on the kittens.. both are doing great and everyone seems to be very happy with their new babies! I am sure they will bring more love to their homes than they will ever expect.

Well.. need to get that post finished.. I want to try to be out of here by 130 at the latest.

Nighty Night..

 

3 am and I really need to be getting to bed. One good thing about tomorrow is I am on MY schedule, no one elses, so I am going to sleep and dream as much as much as I want. Clean what I want, blog when I want and not have a care in the world in regard to time.

It was a long day for me. I don't know why I was so tired by the end of the night but I sure was feeling it about 9 pm. I should have just called it a night at that point and went to bed but that didn't happen.

 

Btw.. is that not the sweetest picture? My kittys mean so much to me. I can't stand to think about the calls that are going to be coming in this week of possible new owners for them. It makes me sad..but its ok.. I don't have to sell any of them if I don't want to but its best.. Got to make room for the next litter. And, no ... none of the girls are pregnant right now..I am hoping by spring or summer that will be changed!

I did manage to do my nails tonight and I FOR SURE have a new FAVORITE COLOR!!!! Yep.. I am excited with this color I have on and I am going back to get a few more bottles sometime soon. I love it.. and will post pictures tomorrow.. I will give you a hint..its # 370.. You know what, if you can guess the color and it to an email to be before I wake up tomorrow ( prob 1 pm'ish ) I will buy you a bottle too! I love it that much!

I am sure loving the holiday decorations around here tonight. The lights are twinkling and the snow flakes look so pretty hanging from the fireplace. I can't see the tree unless I am in the other part of the house but when I walk by those french doors I see..

and those doors are a life saver. We had both french doors wide open and we thought the kittys were doing so good leaving it alone. We leave the house for 30 minutes and come home and there are 4 ornaments on the floor along with a kitty toy.. So they were busted and we shut the door! It's pretty in there even though those doors!

I got another new series coming up on here for TUESDAY"S.. I will tell you more about it tomorrow but I think its going to be fun and informative! Can't wait to show you what I came up with.. from cleaning up the study!

Also..I promise that this upcoming week, I will be working on getting some of the homemade gift ideas and instructions up on here for any of you that want to make some too! That email from that 16 year old was so kind and sweet and I hope that everyone knows that Christmas is not just about getting people things. It is also about putting your heart into it and making gifts of love too. I am doing a mix of both!

Well.. its late, I need sleep.

I hope you guys have a great Monday. Its suppose to be cold and rainy here all day so another great reason to sleep in and stay home!

Sweet Dreams

I should be in bed at this hour ( 2 am ) being I have been so tired but the insomanic in me lives on. I need to take my sleep meds but yea.. haven't done that yet. Husby is always on me to take them eariler but I am so use to late nights that I don't really like to end my night at 10 or 11 pm.. Just have never went to bed at that time..

Right now I am eating a snack while I blog to you guys..

I know its hard to tell..but there is a hard sugar coating on the top of the great fruit and its amazing..

I love it!!!

Perfect bed time snack..

I didnt' even cook dinner tonight again. I was just not feeling good.. Husby worked till 8 pm and ate that white chili all day so he was good with snacking for dinner too. even though I just finished the grapefruit, I still feel hungry.. Hummm.. may have to get another quick snack in a bit!

I was totally unproductive today, which sucked. I should have just forced myself to get up and do something. Tomorrow is laundry.. laundry.. laundry... and some house cleaning too. I don't think Scott is taking his day off because he is off for Thanksgiving. I would love him home but will get more done if hes not here. I am still thinking he will be working a 1/2 day only.. Have to wait and see!

Tonight he came home, watched Dancing with the stars and then House. Quickly after House was over he got in a hot shower for a while and since he has been snoring in the bed! I can hear him upstairs right now..Hope he is having a great dream! ♥

So I hope you guys like the new blog back ground! I got a few emails about it and so far so good!! I also got the link at the top of the blog with WEEKEND NOTES. Just click the icon and it will take you to the current weeks notes. There is a TON of information in there and I would check it out because I am sure there is something that will be beneficial to you!! Tomorrow I will be getting a layaway post up because I know it helps a lot of families. I will also be adding that to the notes too. So there will be 2 post of it.. A normal post and an updated notes post. I am afraid that if I don't do a new one, a lot of you guys will skip over the updated notes post!! But until the holidays are over, I think its something that will stay on weekend notes. I promise to get that frugal coffee post up tomorrow too! I have had a lot of request for that one! Its basically 2 little tips that will help save on your coffee bill.. And since I like expensive coffee, this totally saves me money! I want to get a few holiday looks up too. So stay tuned! I still think I am going to get the Married Life post up on Thursday even though its Thanksgiving, I feel like that night a lot of you guys sill will read it! CHANGES!!!

As you guys can see, I have went ahead and changed the look of the blog I wasn't going to do it before Thanksgiving but something got into me today, and here is the new look!

I didn't want just something with a Christmas design. I want to be able to use it all the way through January! I might end up switching the picture at the top but not sure!!  If I do, you guys will see it!

There are no big changes, just the background. I have had some designers want to design me a special page for this blog but I like to change things up. Just like at home, when I get it in my head to re arrange the furniture!

Sleepy

Hello everyone. How was your Thursday?? I hope it was better than mine! I got a ticket today and I am not too happy about it. I guess it was my fault. I was speeding and just didn't know it. I swear that what happens when you move a lot like I do. I mean, shit. its hard to remember all the speed limits. I think sometimes they space those signs far apart so they can catch you in the act! But nothing that we can't handle.

I also got the the grocery store and super happy that things are stocked back up around here. I really need to clean out the frig because I am pretty sure we got some science experiments going on in there. When I got home I worked really fast to put everything away so I could sit down and do the Married Life Post. I wanted to get it up today. I was afraid I wouldn't. Send those emails. As I have said many times, I love hearing from you. I love when my phone dings and I see that it's a reader with a thought or comment about something I have put on here. I do NOT share you email addresses or names. I just don't like that idea. When I had comments on here, I think a lot of people were hesitant to just write what they felt with their names attached. Yes, I know who you are or at least who your email states but most of the time, I still don't know you. After that mean stalker girl I just like to have comments sent to my email. I know this is not custom to bloggers but its the way this blog is operating. I don't see it changing either. Since I have done email only, I have received a ton more comments that I ever did just having them on the blog! So please keep them coming! And thank you.

I haven't been feeling so good today. I have had a runny nose, I have been sneezing a lot and my chest hurts. I think I have my first cold of the year. Oddly, my throat isn't hurting yet. Better knock on this wood coffee table before I wake up tomorrow not able to talk! My back is hurting too and I think that is the cold. I don't have back pain too often but tonight it's ever present. Its cold here tonight. I think its in the low 30's. That's probably why I am not feeling good or maybe its from the shopping cart at Walmart. I forgot to wipe it off today and maybe I got some nasty germs. I don't know but I want to feel better. So I guess I better take some cold medicine.

Another thing I am going to be trying tonight is..

 

tea. My mom is swearing by this stuff. She says she drinks a cup, lays down and it knocks her out. I mean, could it really be that easy? I just got this today and I will be having some in just a bit. I will have to add sugar. And the smell is pretty strong and I am not so crazy about it but I am going to get one cup in me if not 2. I am trying tonight sleeping pill free. Yea. don't know how this is going to turn out. I might have to take some after  tossing and turning for hours but I am giving this a shot. Mom has never took a sleep med in her life, I don't think. So I bet this might work for her better than me! I will be doing a review next week sometime on what I think of this.

She stood her chicken up over the veggies and that works great too! She even added a kick of beer to make it a little more tasty! Love that!!

Ok.. some blog notes for you guys!!

I got a comment/question asking why I stay on the blog all the time. That the little roatating globe always has my city on it.

Here's the answer..

I am on the blog a lot, I am putting up post, looking for post, proof reading.. generally staying busy. But my city is not Shelby anymore. It does show Shelby but to be very honest, I don't live in Shelby anymore. I am kinda glad the globe still shows Shelby but also... its not always me. There are other people in Shelby who read the blog. Husby reads it often at the dealership, along with some others from the dealership and I have a few friends around here that read it too. So don't just assume its always me!

Thanks for reading and thanks for asking though!

You will also notice right ↓ below the globe ↓ that there is a new list of recent post. I changed it up a bit to add more post and a little snippet of the post. So take advantage of that. A lot of my readers come from facebook and I always link up my post to there but some don't and when I do a post with a lot of pictures sometimes that takes up the entire post. I know a lot of people don't always use the little tab at the bottom - OLDER POST - so this new feature is for you guys!

I will also be kinda editing some of the side bar information. I realize now there is a lot of stuff on the side and maybe I should take a few things down. If I do take something off that you like and something you use, please let me know and I will get it back up!

Tomorrow, I have no big plans during the day. I hope to get some things around the house done and I hope to get the frig cleaned out. Tomorrow night we are suppose to be going to this ice skating event but I am not too sure about it. If I am not feeling good, I am for sure not going. Scott is unsure if he can get off work, and its about an hour away. So not sure but we will figure it all out tomorrow.

Well, time to fix that tea and climb in the bed.

My Evening

Its 2 am.. I am not tired one bit. I guess that's just the way I live. I hate it sometimes. Tomorrow, I have to get up and get to the grocery store and from start to finish, I can guarantee it will be 2 hours of my day gone. Plus more time once I get home putting things away. So I should be asleep, but guess that's just not happening right now!

If you guys saw from my [ VIDEO POST ] our weather has been very very wet around here today.

Here's why..

we had some severe storms around us..

Tornado weather.

I don't mind storms but I do mind being home alone when we have tornado warnings all over the place. I really wanted Scott to come home but thankfully they passed and he came home pretty early tonight. I couldn't imagine trying to deal with a tornado with all our animals.. ALONE.. Just glad it passed.. Its been raining here for 2 days now. I am hoping tomorrow is dry!

Scott came home and we watched some crazy show on the History Channel - one of our favorite channels to watch - and then I got up to make dinner. I wasn't really feeling it again tonight but I managed to get it done.

I broke out the BBQ sauce and decided that I was going to coat something with it!

This is one of my favorite bbq sauces of all time..

Yummm!!

I thawed out some pork chops and

cooked them up with that sauce and then got busy fixing a couple sides..

got some noodles on, instead of potatoes..

And then I got the bright idea to whip up some ..

chocolate mocha pudding.

By then..

noodles were done and

I popped some carrots in the microwave and before I knew it

Dinner was served!!

It was actually pretty good!

Afterwards, it was time for..

Dessert.

I seriously don't know why I didn't just have this for dinner!

I thought I had whipped cream but I didn't so we just had to make due with the sprinkles!

I can't tell you how good this was. Husby really liked it too!

After dinner I had a cup of

We watched a great movie and just hung out!! I will get a review up hopefully tomorrow or Friday on the movie so stay tuned for that too! Also friends, I am uploading a video right now about how I keep my life, my family, and my blog organized.. Not to be missed. It also shows how I put together many post. I think it will show you guys how much thought actually goes into them. Sure, some are fast and I don't really need to brainstorm but when its a longer post, I brainstorm for days before you guys ever read it. I am sure this is the case for many bloggers. It's a lot of work. In fact, husby is trying to find blogging work for me that pays! hahaha!! He's always up to something! He above everyone else knows how much time I put into this and knows how much I enjoy it!

I have tons of post I have been working on but tomorrow I have a day of shopping and putting things up. Yea.. no fun. I did get my coupons all organized.. I put that up too. Just in case you are interested in seeing it.. you can find it [ HERE ] . I am still learning about all this coupon stuff and if you have suggestions email me and let me hear them. God knows, I want to save money and all your tips are appreciated. If I get enough of them, I will post them up on here for everyone to see! Anyway, back to tomorrow.. I have a busy day and I am going to try to get up the Married Life Post. I don't know if I will or not have it up tomorrow or tomorrow night. There was some bullshit drama with this series last week and I took them down. That was a poor decision on my part and they are starting right back up. But with my busy day, I don't know when it will be finished. It might be over the weekend. Who knows. But I am working on it so stay tuned!

Well if I have any hopes of getting up before 2 pm.. I have got to get to bed asap!

Ohh.. more kitty cat video's coming tomorrow too.. So tomorrow will be a busy video day!

Dreamy

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a really nice Tuesday. Its late here. About 1:30 am and I am just starring at this beautiful little baby. Wonder what he is dreaming about.

His sweet little face just melts my ♥ .

Well today was not too eventful around here. Today is husby's day off so he was home most of the day. I didn't sleep good last night or this morning and I felt like crap most of the day. I mean, I was feeling it. Almost a kinda of hung over feeling. We just messed around here for the most part. I thought it was a beautiful day out. I actually made a small little video of it that you can check out by clicking HERE. In the video you won't see a really sunny day or anything. Its was rather over cast but the breeze and the temperature felt amazing. I loved it. Its was perfect weather for the way I was feeling.

Scott piddled around outside and we also got all the fall decorations down. I don't know why people take them down so fast because I like to leave them up till Thanksgiving but people around here are already starting to put up Christmas decorations. I am not no where near ready for that but the fall stuff is down. I kinda miss it already. The porch seems a little empty and bare but whatever. At least it's done.

The rest of the day we just hung out watching tv, playing online and I got this great picture

of husby loving on one of the babies.

Some how around 6 pm, I got busy picking up around here. Only on the first floor but I went through a lot of mail sorted ( mostly bills ), picked up the living room and kitchen and then made a quick dinner.

Nothing special..

Just some Salisbury steaks and mashed potatoes and corn. Well I added the mac and cheese too. When I am sleepy, moody and just being lazy.. I want carbs.. so I had a few extra tonight and it made me really happy! Dinner was extremely easy and I almost felt like I was cheating or something but who cares. It was luck alone that got dinner on the table to begin with. Around 3 pm today, I was feeling my worst. I could barley hold my eyes open but didn't want to nap because I want to go to sleep tonight. Yes.. I know its late, but as long as I am in the bed by about 3 am, I will be fine.

I think I am staying home tomorrow. I don't really have any big plans. I need to go to the grocery store but I doubt I will. I figure I will go on Thursday because its Scott's late night and I will have more time. Plus I have like a million coupons to cut before I go. I have no idea how I am going to organize them. But I will figure something out.

I got an email tonight asking if I would recommend a good dupe for the NARS Orgasm blush. I thought I had done a post a long time ago about it but I couldn't find it so I am guessing neither can any of you. I did another updated post tonight. I did send a email back and I am not one of those bloggers who doesn't say anything except...go to this post.. if you email me, I will take the time to answer you and if I have one, I will include a link to the post. I actually sent 2 emails to her. One telling her what my pick was and then after I did the post, I sent her another. It's kinda a old question but I thought it was important to get it up on here no matter how late! If you want to read it here's the link - NARS vs MALINI - . Also I did a quick update on Kisha's House of Persians. Its not in any way updated the way it should be but I will be getting that caught up in the coming days. I know I have neglected it, and I still have tons and tons more post that I need to get done on Our Fairytale. I have not forgot about either of those blogs but this one keeps me rather busy! But I am hoping in the coming weeks the kitty cat website will be pretty update and I will have another chapter done on our life story. So stay tuned for those post. I will for sure let you all know when a new post goes up on either of the sites. I didn't do a link for the kitty cat post because you guys have already seen the pictures I posted but hop over there if you want to see them again!

There are also some more Black Friday ads out and I am going to update the WEEKEND NOTES tomorrow. I am not a huge Black Friday shopper but I know many of you are!

Well, I am going to get ready and get to bed. I am ahead of schedule and I am going to take full advantage of it! Its raining right now which is perfect weather to fall asleep to. Its suppose to rain all day tomorrow.. another good reason to stay home!

Ohh.. one more thing before I forget. I deleted the hellocotton page, along with the bloglovin page and the blog facebook page. As many of you know, I have finally been able to block the stalker girl from this blog and she was using all 3 of those other accounts to still read what I am writing. I also know she contacted that drama queen I was talking about a while ago and I am just trying to keep her from knowing anything about what is going with me or this site. I know she can read the first few lines of any blog post through the blog feed on blogger but that's it. Nothing else and if she comes back, I will block her ass again. I am sorry to you guys who did follow on any of the accounts I am talking about but right now, I need to get this situation under control. Last night she also deleted all the copyrighted material that was mine on her blog. Not sure why but glad she did. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any concerns or questions.. you guys know my email by now!

To Bed I Go!!!!

I don't know where the time has went tonight. I swear, just 30 minutes ago ( so it seems ) was 8 pm. Time just flew by tonight. Scott came home stressed out from work and was in bed within an hour and a half of getting home. We had a long talk tonight. Still, I am sure we will talk more tomorrow. But we are ok. Just a stressful time in many many ways. The key thing is that we don't take it out on each other. I love that man more than words. He has given me so much love and support over 8 years and with this - new - situation that's what I have to do for him. I told him tonight, I would follow him across the world, just to be with him. I know that won't change inside me. I need to work hard with this new thing going on because I owe him that to say the least. So that's the plan. When he says I can say what it is.. I will. But right now and for a while he wants me to be a little more reserved than normal. I probably won't be mentioning it much more but I felt I should say something because it's what upset me last night. But nothing to worry about. Its a blessing and my fears will go away and we will handle it in any way we need to and with as much love as possible. I'm trying.. life is just complex in so many ways and I just always stumble with change!

With time passing so fast tonight, I didn't get the dinner post up.. But I made the chicken pot pie from all the left overs from the roasted chicken dinner. I loved it and husby seemed to like it a lot too. He had 2 servings so it was a hit! We even have some left overs for lunch tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, Scott is off work. So I am sure we will just be spending the day together around here. I am happy..I think we need the time together. I don't think we have any big plans or anything. Just taking the day as it comes. I have some handy man things I want him to do and we are on the hunt for a lost box around here too. We still have a room full of boxes - the study - and I need to get in there and work but we are also missing a important box that I was going to send a friend before the move..and now its gone MIA. So finding that is on the to do list!

Did any of you guys watch 20/20 tonight. It was about the recovery Gabrielle Giffords. Wow, is all I can say. What a inspiring woman. It totally warms my heart to see her getting well after being shot point blank in the head. Her husband the astronaut Mark Kelly was also inspiring. I sure hope my husband would be the same with me. He takes his vows very serious and I really loved watching him take care of her. I also loved how she smiles all the time. Clearly she is not the same person anymore. She can't speak in sentences either but she is getting there, one day at a time. Very Very Inspiring Look Into Her Life Now. I loved it and it appreciate my life.

On to more tv news.. Have any of you seen the trailer for Iron Lady with Meryl Streep????? Is there anything that woman cannot do!? I can't wait to see it.. I mean.. seriously.. I might have to go alone to the movies in the afternoon if husby does not want to go see it... But maybe with the new early premier pay per view option with Time Warner, I can see it before it comes to the theaters! I sure hope so!

Gosh.. every movie she does is excellent and this one doesn't seem to be any different. Look at the transformation with the hair and make up.. Extraordinary. It's like she channels these people and it just flows. I don't know how she does it but I sure love her movies. And if you haven't noticed.. she has gotten better with time. I think that is the case for all of us though! But I can't wait to see this movie.. A movie about strong independent woman who changed her country is priceless to me.

Excited!!



It's suppose to be the most eagerly awaited film performance of the year, but is also already proving to be the most controversial. I think mainly because Lady Thatcher is still alive and also the movie shows the issues she is having with dementia. Plus I think that an American playing this role is a little hard for some to take but I think she got the accent, look and mannerisms right.



You guys know I love movies!! I could go on and on but I will stop now.. But, do any of you guys plan on seeing this? I am curious so email me!!



Ohh..I must tell you guys that I deleted my hellocotton account.. Well its not totally deleted but there will be no new post showing up on it and tomorrow I am hoping its gone for good. I also took the link off the blog. I realized today with some super dooper Internet program that my stalker friend was using this site to still read this blog and I needed to stop it. Not too many of you guys use this anyway.. so I am not going to really loose any sleep over it being gone. Anything to keep her away. I even found out she is in contact with that drama queen lawyer I was telling you guys about. I guess she googled it and found her.. and now probably stalking her too.. that's fine.. as long as she stays away from me. She also took down all the blog post of mine that she copied and pasted from my blog to hers. I did save it to windows with screen shots just to keep a record and when its time to lock her ass up, I am sure that will help! I love her being blocked.. Wooooo-hoooo!!! Also if you want to know how I finally figured out how to do it.. just email me and I will be more than happy to share!



I am also going to be working on my kitty cat website too. I know I have really neglected it and I need to update it and really get it back in order. I won't put a ton of post on it because this is where I blog most, but I need to update it.. Stay tuned for that! Speaking of my kitty cats, they are wanting their late night snack so I am going to do that and get to bed!

After much consideration I have decided to keep doing the Married Life series, and if someone does not like it, they don't have to read it. I apologize for deleting them. There is no way to get them back so we will just move on starting Thursday.

There should be 3 coupon inserts in tomorrow's paper. So do not miss out on picking it up. There are coupons in it for everything so get out and get that paper.. Remember.. before you walk away with it.. check to see if the coupons are actually in the paper. I have bought a paper where the coupons were stolen. Our litter of Persian Kittens are getting ready to go to new homes. If you are interested at all.. email me and I will send you an application to email back to me. I do check references.. its not because I don't trust you but our main goal is to find the best loving homes possible for these kittens. They are just like our kids and they mean so much to me. It breaks my heart to sell them but we have to get ready for the next litter to come. In the mean time, I will be buying another male to breed with the females. Super excited about that!
