I am sure missing that little guy tonight. I am hoping he is doing well. BTW.. I got pictures of all the kittys in my phone and I will be getting them posted as soon as I have the time. They called to thank me just a while ago and said he was doing great. Her husband asked me if the cat would walk, because she is carrying him around every where. I think that's probably the case with all the others too!

Like I have said many times.. these kittens.. all my kittens have a piece of my heart and now its spread all over North Carolina. That's something special.. not everyone can say that..but now the love I feel is being felt with 4 other families. That alone makes me smile. Its so hard parting with them but keeping them all was never part of the plan. God knows I want to!

I have to be up in just a couple hours.. but I am going back to sleep as soon as I get in the car. I need to finish up and write notes for the house sitter.

Holiday Decorations with 5 VIDEO's !! =))

Late night hello friends..

Its been a loooooong day but I am finished with everything that I am doing today and I am happy happy with the decorations that we got up today.. Still more to go but here's how the day went!

First off, we got the tree brought in..

and the kitty cats loved it!

They were bouncing all over it..

Mean while..

husby was busy getting lights up outside..

and it was pretty easy.. we only did the front porch and..

it doesn't hurt that he's tall! He was on a ladder but for the most part.. he could reach without it!

I was busy getting the lights up on the tree and

Getting the ornaments out and organized!!

I then started getting the ribbons on..

I think ribbons and bows make any tree look beautiful!

But I forgot something!! Just wait you will see!!

And I think it kinda looks enchanting with the lights. Pretty!!

As you can see, I forgot to add the pink lights before the bows and ribbon!! Thank goodness, I didn't have the ornaments up at that point!!

 

Now the pink lights make it look better!!

But the pretty snow flakes are hanging from it!

this big ornament up too.. BTW.. those boxes are to prevent the kittens from going over!

WET Wednesday!!

Afternoon!

It's been raining around here since last night. I took a quick video of what I went to bed and I will get it up soon! Plus a really funny kitty video!

Anyway,  today is no different! The news said we are going get some serious storms as the day goes on. I love the rain and I am happy that I can enjoy it from inside my house and not have to be out in it. With a big dog, it makes it a bit harder. After he goes out to the bathroom, I have to bring him back in, wipe his feet off, dry the rain off his coat just to make sure he doesn't get mud all over the carpets. Cats are easier!!  Speaking of cats, last night I had to shut the bedroom door because the kitty's wouldn't stop climbing all over me and Willow drove us nuts with all her meowing wanting back in. Willow is one of those cats, that you don't really pay much attention to because she just isn't a wild crazy kind of cat. But she still very much a people cat and she has separation anxiety. It worries me what she must go through when we actually leave.

Let me tell you about a dream I had this morning.

I was in a bathroom as a 30 something year old woman and I walked around the corner and was in a totally different bathroom. When I looked in the mirror, I had to been a 70 year old woman. I wasn't shocked but I did have a scary feeling that came across to me. I didn't look that bad, but it was the first time ever seeing myself look like that. My hair wasn't real short and curly as is most elderly people. It was shoulder length and just with a couple curls in it.  I remember just staring into the mirror and then I woke up to Scott calling.  I don't how old I was, I just have to assume I was in my 70's. Its pretty crazy. Maybe I will live that long!

I don't have many plans today. I got to toss some laundry around, and I have a TON of coupons to clip asap. I should be going to the store today but I am skipping out on it because of the rain and I am going to just go tomorrow. Good thing, since I slept in really late. It felt great though! I will be getting some reviews up today and also some more fall recipes!

Updated Powder Room Video!!!

This by far is one of the most requested video's that I get. I'm not sure why either, but here is an updated video for you guys..



Also, if you have a slow Internet connection, it may not play like it should.. It will pause on it's own so what I recommend if this starts happening, pause the video.. and wait. You will see the grey line that shows how far it has played. As it comes to the end of the video, then start the video again. I get emails sometimes telling me that my video won't play. It's not the video, it the connection!!

Cooper's DOGGIE WORK OUT!!!

Since Cooper has been wanting to roam and run, I figured we needed to get back to working him out like we use to. This video shows basically how to get your dog up and running on an indoor treadmill. Be please careful if you try this with your dog. Start out on a slow speed and work your way up to higher a speed and longer distances!

Dancing.. Dancing.. Dancing.. with the STARS!!!

Ok friends.. You know I LOVE ballroom dancing by now.. I had to been a dancer in one of past lives because my legs even twitch when I am watching!! Last night's dances were the best yet!! I loved them!! I didn't get a post done last night because we were still all upset over the dog.. and I just didn't get it done..

So first.. here are the dances from last nights dances..

First off this was THE BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT.. 10's across the board.. I mean.. JR can really dance and he looks beautiful doing it.. This was one of my most favorite dances of his EVER!!

I am pretty sure you all know my love affair with Max but that's not the only reason I loved this dance.. I think this was by far one of the best dances for Hope in the entire season!

I also loved Ricki's dance too..

And here is Nancy's dance..

I love Nancy but I don't know how she made it this far!

I am not crazy about Rob Kardashian so I didn't put it on here. Sorry.. I just didn't see the point.. These are MY favorite dances and dancers..

Now also last night, they a instant dance..

Again.. JR did amazing!!!!! All 10's again!!

Now.. here is sexy boy..

Is that just not a beautiful man!? I might get into trouble with the husby for this but I could watch that beautiful man all night long.. WOW!!!!!

I couldn't find the actual dancers on youtube, I think, because it aired just a few minutes ago.. But here is the trailer..

I loved it and going to see if I can find tickets to a show that will be in our area in the coming months!

Well tonight has been a video night with the GUN VIDEO POST and now this one!!!

I love Dancing with the Stars.. and I think we all know who is going to win it!!! We will just have to wait to find out.. Can't wait till next Monday!!

Gun Testing... with husby!

Around 5pm husby wanted to go try out a new gun that he is thinking about buying.. I don't think I will get into trouble saying this.. let's hope I don't anyway.. But the car business and guns go hand in hand.. I have no idea why.. but Scott tends to buy most of his guns through his friends and co workers at the dealership.

So this one came his way.. I think this gun in these videos is called a Springfield Omga 10mm.. I am not 100% sure though.. I don't know much about guns.. But I think that's what Scott said..

Also you will see that its not firing exactly as it should.. Being I don't know much about guns, I thought it was the gun messing up.. Husby seems to think it had something to do with the bullets.. They are the kind that were filled by his friend with less gun powder and husby thinks that is why..

I am sure he will check into it more before deciding to buy it or not..

He sure likes guns.. and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes and buys a box of " fresh and new " bullets to test it again.. If he does, I will try to get a video of it.. I did not fire this gun.. I don't really like to shoot guns.. I have practiced a few times for self defense.. but I don't really plan on shooting a gun unless I just have to..

The End of My Night

Is that not a great quote or what? So very true in my life right now. Seems as if someone else wants to take the pen! Hahaha.. Yea.. thats not happening!

Anyway.. How is everyone tonight? I had an over all good day. A long day without Scott home with me. But I worked really hard on getting the wedding post up.. If you haven't checked them out here are the links..

Scott was all over me today to get those pictures up.. asap. So it took up a lot of my day. I don't think he understands how long it takes to get pictures and videos uploaded.. get the post written and then proof read it.. all before it goes live on the blog.. Like I said.. I didn't get much else done around here.

Well I did get my hair done today.. Just got it colored and trimmed. Its a little more red that what I wanted.. its like a dark auburn color. But its fine.. It covered all the grey and that's what matters! I am sure you will see it in pictures in the coming days!

Scott worked till 8 pm... I normally don't cook a full meal on his late nights. But tonight.. I was in the mood for...

Steaks. So I got the indoor grill out and cooked them up along with

zucchini and onions..

I cheated on the potatoes.. they went right into the microwave!

Dinner was actually pretty fast..

Everything cooked up in under 30 minutes. I think it was done in 15 - 20 minutes..

Since..

Dancing with the Stars was on..

we ate in the living room watching it! Wow.. is all I can say about that! I will have my thoughts on that tomorrow!!

Really the night was pretty simple around here. Talked a lot to my mom and a couple friends. Scott was in bed within 1 hour after he got home. I hate when he comes home so tired where we don't get any time together. But hopefully tomorrow he will come home early since its his day off. My husby does not understand the concept of taking a day off. Its not who he is. But I will settle for a 1/2 day!

I wanted to get the kittens bathed today.. That didn't happen during the day but around 11 pm.. guess what I did!?

Gave my babies their FIRST bath!!

Then I started the water and..

my little guy Gizmo seemed to love the water coming out of the faucet! Strange huh!?

They all did really well.

They got all clean and fresh!

I was surprised at how well they did! I know they were not happy with me but they really needed baths!

Well its 214 am.. I have to get to bed soon. I also am wanting a snack really badly too.

Tomorrow I have more Halloween post coming up..along with a lot of other post. It just depends if husby comes home or not, on how many I will actually get posted! And I haven't forgot to get the comments and questions about the Horizon-Organic-Milk post that got a lot of you thinking.. and talking!! So I will work on that this week too.
