The back of the packaging gives some great directions on how to apply these colors if you are unsure or new to making a smokey eye look.

A very diagrammed chart to show you.

And it says it's suppose to be 12 hour eye shadow.

The packaging is

very slim and even on the

it gives you more directions.

When I opened this little package up

I found the colors to be AMAZING..

My Thoughts
I wore it all day yesterday and it did last like it says it will. I was shocked that I had never given these a try.. I think there are over 14 different quads to choose from and I plan on getting as many as I can of these. I think they are such a great deal..

Check out the swatches..

As you can see they are a little shimmery and they are also very pigmented. Which is great for a drugstore find!

As I have told you many times, I rarely read reviews before buying any make up. I don't want some review to make up my mind for me..I want to try them out first and then read the reviews. The reviews on this line is really really good reviews.

So maybe this is a shadow that you might want to try out yourself because I don't think you will be disappointed.

REVIEW - Milani Baked Bronzer # 04 Glow -

Thank goodness I am done with the Salma Hayek Nuance reviews and I can start on other reviews!

Tonight I am going to be talking about

The Milani Baked Bronzer in # 04

Its normally around $ 8.00 but I got it on sale and you can see that post HERE but I picked this one up for $4.00 - Which is a great deal!

Product Details

A multi-purpose, streak-free bronzer for eyes, face & body. Gives you an instant radiant glow! Mirror & brush included. Made in Italy.

Ingredients

Talc, Mica (CI 77019), Dimethicone, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Polysorbate 20, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Isohexadecane, Polysorbate 80, Sorbitan Stearate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI 77289), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Red 6 (CI 15850), Red 7 (CI 15850).

Directions for use

Use dry for a sheer luminous finish. Wet for a more intense look.

This line has 3 different shades.

Glow

Golden

Soleil

The one I got was the glow because it was the lightest of all shades. Being its winter time and I am not very tanned, I figured this one would be the best for my skin tone.

As you can see from the 2 pictures above it has rather chunky packaging that I don't really care for.

It does have a

mirror and brush on the opposite side too.

The brush is ok.. but nothing really special..

as you can see its thin.. I save these up for my daughter.

As you can see there is some gold swirled into the bronzey peach color..

Here are the swatches.

Its kinda a peachy gold color that looks really pretty on.

From what I can see, these are very similar to the Mac Mineralized Skinfinish. I don't know if its a total dupe for that line because I have only played around with a few.. I don't own any. But I think its a close call!

My final thoughts..

One of the things I like about this product is that it's not too shimmery. I was a little concerned about that at first but it seems to give more satin finish with just a touch of shimmer. I tend to prefer my brozers matt but this one I like too!

As you can see it does give a pretty glow. As you can tell, I need a little blush on the apples of my cheeks to brighten it up a little bit but I like this bronzer!

Have you guys tried any of these Milani Baked Bronzers?

Let me know what you think of them!

Eco Tools - LIMITED EDITION BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSIONS KABUKI SET REVIEW!!

Hello friends! I am going to be talking about the ECO TOOLS LIMITED EDITION BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSIONS KABUKI SET I got yesterday in → THIS HAUL ←.

I used these a bit last night and today and I don't need to keep using them for days to get a proper review up.

Lets get started!!

I was on the hunt for these yesterday and the only place I found them is Walgreens, up high on a top shelf . Like I said in the haul, I asked for them and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. Sooooo.. I kept looking and found them!! And I was kind enough to show here what they were and where they were! But I had checked Walmart, CVS, and Rite Aid and nothing..

Thank you Walgreens!!

I think they are put in the box wrong. All of them have the angled brush under bronze and I think that's the contour brush and the contour brush is actually the bronze brush. When taking these pictures, I didn't change up the brushes.

This set cost $ 14.99 and are

Limited Edition..

So you are going to want to get these asap. I don't know how long they are going to be around. I am going back and buying at least 2 more for Christmas gifts!

Here's the product details!!

Ok.. Here are the brushes without the packaging..

And I did move them around!

Here is

The Buff Kabuki

As you can see its a flat top kabuki brush that is great for blending in any powder to your face. I have used this one in a circular motion over my face with a translucent powder and loved it.

Here is the

Conceal Round Kabuki

This is one of my favorites out of the entire set. First off, this is a great concealer brush because its small and compact allowing you to get in all the tiny areas around the nose and eyes. It also works great for foundation too. I used it today for both, foundation and concealer. LOVE IT!! Its is actually pretty firm and that is great for a foundation or concealer brush.

Here is the

Bronze Angled Kabuki Brush

This brush is great for any powder product. It works beautifully to add any powder product to your face. I think pretty much this as the others, is a multi use kind of brush!

Here is the

Contour domed Kabuki Brush

I think this brush is great for contouring. I used it today and fell in love! If you are trying to contour your nose areas you can just pinch it and it works great!

My Final Thoughts!!

These brushes are amazing!!

I do wish they came with something to store them in but I have found a way to keep they stored where nothing will get on them... Will show you guys that later. I think these brushes excellent for the price and very much worth the buy. They are super soft and since they are small, they will travel great ( if you find a good way to pack them! ) I don't like my brushes getting dirty because if they do and I use them, there is a chance they will break out your face. That's why you don't want to just toss them in your make up bag. But I am sure I will figure something out! These brushes are very versatile and you can use them in any way that suits you. I think the flat top buff kabuki would also work great for foundation too!

All these brushes are cruelty - free taklon bristles with recycled aluminum handles. As I said, they are incredibly soft and really nice brushes. I think these would make any make up lover happy and they would also make great gifts.

So get out and find them!!!

HUGE Walgreens Haul + A Few things from Walmart!!!!

As many of you guys know, I went out today...and was nervous about being among the black Friday shoppers. I was lucky that I didn't have any issues with it. I went out to all the drug stores to see what I could find. I figured all the drug store beauty items would be disorganized and nothing left. Well CVS sucked and so did Rite Aid. They barley had any beauty products a lower price than what they normally are.

Well Walgreens was the WINNER today!!

I was so happy to go in there and see all the sales!

I got a ton of stuff.. I will be doing swatches and reviews in the weeks to come but tonight I wanted to show you what I got. I only paid full price for 3 things.. the rest was on sale. I got my receipt and I will try to keep straight what everything cost but I will try!

So here is the haul in full!!

22 items total

I had to take the pictures on my dining room table because it was so big and

look at how was up in the chair at the table watching.. Isn't Gizmo cute!

So one of the items I paid full price for was

Eco Tools Limited Edition Beautiful Expressions Kabuki Set.

( I will do a full post on these tomorrow )

I also saw this adorable

Cat Ring Holder. I know this is really not a beauty item per say but it does kinda fit with beauty!

I love it.. In fact, I think I am going back to get another. One for beside my bed and one for in the kitchen when I am cooking!

The next thing I paid full price for is these

make up removers. I will do a full post and review on these tomorrow or Sunday.. I tried these the first time when my Free Target Beauty Bag came in [ see post HERE ] I am loving these right now and can't wait to tell you why!

The last item I paid full price for was this

Elf Holiday Edition in Natural Eye.

And just so you guys know I will tell the prices of the 3 above items when I review them.

But here is what I found on sale!!

First with the eyeshadows..

Ok.. With the Revlon Color Stay quad was $ 3.59 and the other 2 shadows were $ 1.10 each!!

HOW GREAT IS THAT!!

On to blush and bronzers..

The Malini Baked Bronzer was $ 4.00 and the Revlon Blush was $ 1.50.

They also had this

Cover Girl Professional Mascara for $ 2.99

Now lip items..

Ok.. I had fun with the lip products!!

The 2 Relvons on the left were 4.59 each , The Rimmels that are in the middle were $ 2.69 each and the Revlon on the end was $ 3.99. The Gloss was 3.49.

Then the nail products were calling my name!!

The deal on these polishes and strips was amazing!

The Sally Hansen polishes in the middle was $ 2.59 each

The Essie polish was $ 4.00

The Rimmel Polish was 2.99 and the last polish on the right is Sally Hansen Salon polish that cost $ 2.99.

The Salon Effects was $ 3.99

Last but not least I am going to go ahead and include what I picked up at Walmart..

Some more Conditioner, moisturizer, floss and of course, Oprah's new magazine!!

WALGREENS KICKED ASS TODAY!!

Now, I should explain to you guys, that this is a marker sale.. What I mean is all these items had those little dots on the displays of which items were on sale. So not all products from the line were these prices!! You will have to just go in to YOUR Walgreens and see what you find!!

Clearly, I found a lot and I wasn't in there till after 4 pm.

So, get there and check it out!!

I will do swatches and reviews over the weekend!!

HAPPY HAPPY!!
