Chocolate Chip L♥ve..

I've been on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe for a long time now so I was digging around in all my cook books from culinary school and found this to die for cookie recipe!

Prepare for  JUMBO CHEWY DELICIOUSNESS.

( These are large cookies.. I mean whats better than a big warm chewy chocolate chip cookie! )

Heres the recipe!

Ingredients:

3 ¼ cups all purpose flour

1 cup cake flour (I use Swans Down)

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 ½ cups butter (3 sticks), softened

1 ¼ cups granulated sugar

1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 Tbsp vanilla extract

1 ¾ to 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips/chunks (11.5 – 12 oz package)

Preheat oven to 375 ºF

Combine all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
Combine butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl and beat together until

creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until well blended.

Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Stir in morsels/chunks.

Drop dough by level ¼ cup measure, 2 inches apart, onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

NOTES: Use salted butter since salt is not part of the recipe. Cookies may not appear all the way done but will set up some when cooling. Refrigerate dough to minimize spread during cooking and to maximize the chewiness of the center.

These are so good you might want to make a double batch!
